Metaphor: ReFantazio Surpasses 85,000 Peak Concurrent Players
A major new RPG coming from the creative leads of Persona was never not going to do well, but Metaphor: ReFantazio has perhaps done better than even Atlus or Sega could have expected. Upon its release last week, the fantasy RPG instantly saw a peak of over 61,000 concurrent players on Steam, and that number has only grown over the weekend.
As per SteamDB, on Sunday, Metaphor: ReFantazio saw a peak of 85,961 players on Steam. The only other JRPG with a higher concurrent users peak on the platform of Granblue Fantasy: Relink
